Marrey Picciotti, Co-Director

Marrey has been Coordinator of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at St. Giles Parish since 2005.   Following completion of all three levels of CGS formation, she completed studies in practical theology and received her Master of Pastoral Studies from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago to develop a Level 4.  Her capstone paper was "Meeting the Formation Needs of Young Adolescents:  Development of Level Four Atrium in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd."

She is currently the Parish Life & Formation Director at St. Giles Parish handling operations, communications and youth formation for the parish.

She is grateful for the support of her husband, Will, in this vocation, and her greatest joy has been watching her own daughters working in the atrium, first as children and now as catechists. Their journey has inspired her own.

Rachel Faulman, Co-Director

Rachel introduced Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to St. Catherine-St. Lucy Parish in Oak Park in 2007 where she leads a Level 1 atrium.   She has gone on to complete all three levels of CGS formation, and was recognized as a Level 1 formation leader in 2014.

Currently, she is a catechist and level leader for Level 2 with St. Giles Parish where she is also the Parish Secretary.  Previously she was the Director of Development for the National Association.

Named "Materials Maven" for the St. Giles atria, she enjoys putting her creative energy into materials for the children.  She has one daughter and a lovable labrador.
